Mercedes- Benz- Museum
The new Mercedes-Benz Museum has given history of the automobile industry a new meaning.
The amazing new building offers over 16,500 sqm exhibition space, for not only 160 vehicles on display, but also many additional services such as restaurants and museum shops.
When approaching the city of Stuttgart, visitors are greeted with a unique view of the new building. Designed by UNStudio, currently one of the most respected architectural firms in the world, the Mercedes-Benz Museum would be worth a visit for its architecture building alone.
The most striking feature in this architectural structure has to be the way that visitors travel through the museum; you do not start exploring the exhibition down at the entrance, instead are taken by lifts to the top floor. Here you can choose between two tours; the Legend or Collection tour. Each tour is taking you through the museum from top to bottom. The tours cross each other on each floor, so you always have the choice which one to take.
